San Jose neighborhoods explained

August 31, 2017

If you’re new to San Jose, you’ll be endlessly inspired by all the unique places to hang out here. The city is basically broken down into four districts:

Japantown
The walkable and charming district of Japantown is the perfect mix and history and present day. They host fun festivals and have authentic Japanese restaurants. The authentic sushi is a must.

Downtown
This all-encompassing district features everything from major universities, Silicon Valley tech giants, awesome museums, art walks, music festivals, major sports, shopping and dining at Santana Row, SAP Center, gorgeous parks, and much more.

Little Saigon
The niche district of Little Saigon has more Vietnamese residents than any single city outside of Vietnam. Highlights include amazing Vietnamese food and desserts, Grand Century Mall, Vietnam Town, and Emma Prusch Park.

Willow Glen
The tree-lined streets of downtown Willow Glen offer a small-town, family friendly feel. Here you’ll enjoy a chill atmosphere with lots of sidewalk cafes, baby strollers and boutiques. It’s the ”Mayberry” of districts.

Wherever you go in San Jose, you’ll be inspired and have a great time. Live at The Pierce and experience the city up close and personal.
